The City Secondary Water Division cannot control when the water is available in the canals. The canal companies are required to wait until at least April 15th, but often wait until closer to May, check back for updates on the start dates.

Once the water is made available the City works as quickly as possible to charge up the secondary water system. This can take a minimum of 24 hours after the water is made available. To avoid damage to your property, and to help speed up the process of charging up the secondary system, please make sure your main secondary water valve is shut off.

The canal companies are required to stop filling the canals by October 15th, they can decide to stop the water sooner. The City cannot control when the water is in the canals that feed the City's system. Please check back for estimated dates on when the secondary water season will end.
