Personal Trainers

The Personal Trainers are independent operators that contract with the City of South Jordan to provide Personal Training Services.

Jackie Berg

Jackie graduated from Weber State University in Human Performance Management. She also holds certifications from AFAA, AHA, and Mad Dogg Spin.

She is very detail-oriented when it comes to her training. She knows the importance of a nutritionally sound diet and weight management. She believes that anyone can succeed by small and simple changes.

Jackie has worked with a variety of clients including, weight loss, strength training, core strengthening, stress managing, scoliosis, fibromyalgia, arthritis, osteoporosis, shin splints, and plantar fasciitis.

When Jackie is not training she enjoys researching the latest fitness trends, running, biking, soccer, and a good game of ping pong.

Lars Toensing

Lars Toensing graduated from Eagle Gate College. Holds and maintains The National Strength and Conditioning Association certification.

Lars has worked with clients including: fat loss, muscle building, power lifting, joint issues, overall wellbeing and heath, bodybuilders and fitness athletes, to people looking for better self-worth. With Lars you will be bridging the gap between the body and science. A highly Certified and Qualified personal trainer like him is what anyone, who is serious about fitness and health needs to show them a safe, effective, efficient way to get in shape. He is a breath of fresh air in this industry for he walks the talk, and truly knows what he is doing.

Justin Farmer

Justin graduated from the University of Utah in Exercise and Sport Science, while minoring in Nutrition in 2012. He is currently a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a level 1 Sports Performance Instructor through USA Weightlifting (USAW), a Certified Fitness Instructor through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), and lastly a certified TRX Functional Trainer.

Justin believes that periodization and proper nutrition are the keys to your success. He will develop a personalized workout plan designed around your specific goals and will give you nutritional guidance to accelerate your results. Whether you're looking to simply lose weight, or to increase your 40 time, Justin has the tools and experience that you need.

Justin worked as an independent trainer throughout college where he worked with all age groups, from youth (5 - 14+) all the way to seniors (85+). Upon graduation, he did a yearlong internship with the strength and conditioning department of University of Utah athletics, where he worked with men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, and women's soccer.

Throughout his childhood and through some college, Justin played baseball, basketball, and football. When Justin is not training, you will likely find him reading up on new advances in the industry, meal prepping, or playing basketball any chance he gets.
