The City of South Jordan has been named the 18th best place to live in America, according to "Money Magazine's 2010 Best Places to Live" rankings. The rankings were released online on July 12th, with the annual list to be published in the August edition of Money Magazine.
"This is a tremendous honor for South Jordan, and it is a testament to the wonderful residents who make South Jordan a great place to live each and every day," said South Jordan Mayor W. Kent Money. "We've always believed South Jordan is a world class city, and we are glad to share it with those near and far" Money said.
South Jordan was noted in the review for its low crime rates and strong schools. Also mentioned as being a favorite among residents and neighbors was South Jordan's annual Country Fest celebration. Also making the list from Utah were Orem, West Jordan, and St. George.
