Board Member Frank Wareham motioned to approve the September 20, 2006 Board of Adjustment Agenda, as printed. Board Member Dan Fallows seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous in favor.
D. Approval of the Minutes of the Meeting held on March 15, 2006.
Board Member Dan Fallows motioned to approve the March 15, 2006 Board of Adjustment minutes with one name spelling correction. Board Member Frank Wareham seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous in favor.

III PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS
A. File # BOA-2006.03, Request for a variance to Sections 17.32.110 and 17.32.150 of the South Jordan Zoning Ordinance pertaining to front yard setback distance and front yard fencing. Property located at approximately 10310 South 3050 West, Dave Maher (applicant).
Senior Planner Greg Schindler reviewed the background information on this item.
Board Members discussed the layout of the property with current fencing and the location of the fencing surrounding the property. They discussed the light post and the fire hydrant that will need to be moved. They asked the property owners for clarification on the types of fencing around the property.
Debbie Maher (Property Owner) pointed out on the map where the current fences are located and where the proposed future fencing would be placed.
Board Member Troy Teeples motioned to close the Public Hearing. Board Member Frank Wareham seconded the motion. Vote was unanimous in favor.
B. Potential Action Item (See III. A.)
Board Member Frank Wareham motioned to approve the variance pertaining to front yard setback distance and approve the four foot front yard fencing along the sidewalk, which is to be approved by the City and added the condition that the existing paneled six foot concrete wall be replaced from where it meets the roadway to the front line of the Maher house with a see through fence such as wrought iron fencing. Board Member Dan Fallows seconded the motion. Vote was unanimous in favor.
